Getting There

  • Car

If you are driving from the city of Ibra, take Route 23 towards Qurayyat. Continue on Route 23 for approximately 50 km until you reach the junction near Qurayyat. Take the exit towards Wadi Al Arbeieen. Follow the signs for Wadi Al Arbeieen. The road leads you directly to the parking area near the entrance of the wadi. Be cautious of the dirt path that leads into the wadi itself; a 4x4 vehicle is recommended for this section. Parking at the entrance is generally free.

  • Public Transportation

From Ibra, take a local bus or shared taxi heading towards Qurayyat. The fare should be around 2-3 Omani Rials. Ask the driver to drop you off at the junction for Wadi Al Arbeieen. Once you arrive at the junction, you may need to hire a local taxi (which could cost around 5-10 Omani Rials) to reach the wadi entrance, as public transport does not operate directly into the wadi.

  • Hiking

If you decide to hike to Wadi Al Arbeieen after arriving at the parking area, ensure you have proper hiking shoes and plenty of water. The hike into the wadi is scenic and can take about 30-60 minutes depending on your pace. Follow the path that leads down into the wadi, which is well-trodden by previous visitors.
