Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from the main road leading to Wadi Shab. Follow the signs towards Wadi Tiwi, which will take you to the Wadi Shab area. Once you reach the parking area for Wadi Shab (there is a small fee of approximately 1 OMR for parking), park your vehicle. From the parking area, you will need to walk about 30 minutes to reach Wadi Shab Resort. Follow the path that leads into the wadi, and enjoy the scenic views as you approach the resort.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Muscat to Tiwi. Buses leave regularly from the main bus station in Muscat and the fare is around 5 OMR. Upon reaching Tiwi, you can either take a taxi to the Wadi Shab parking area, which would cost approximately 2 OMR, or you can walk to the parking area (around 45 minutes). After reaching the parking area, you will need to walk approximately 30 minutes to reach Wadi Shab Resort.

• Taxi

  For a more direct approach, you can hire a taxi from Muscat to Wadi Shab Resort. This option costs around 20 OMR and takes about 1.5 hours. The taxi will drop you off at the Wadi Shab parking area, and from there, you will need to walk about 30 minutes to reach the resort. Ensure to negotiate the price and confirm with the driver before departing.
