This was truly one of the most beautiful trips I have ever experienced in my life. I booked this tour through the communication team at OMAN COMPASS TOURS, and the itinerary included almost all the important places and experiences that I believe should be part of a first visit to Oman. One of the highlights of this trip was our guide, Saud, who has extensive experience in tourism. He was always ready to answer all our questions, very flexible with the timing and itinerary, and genuinely cared about our safety and comfort, especially during the hike at Wadi Shab. During the trip, we had the opportunity to witness sea turtles laying their eggs for the first time, as well as baby turtles hatching. We also enjoyed a camel-riding experience in the desert, along with a special complimentary experience from the company to ride beautiful purebred Arabian horses. We had the chance to taste traditional Omani cuisine at two different restaurants, including traditional Omani Shuwa, as well as a delicious seafood bucket after an enjoyable boat trip to the Daymaniyat Islands, where we went snorkeling. We also visited several castles and forts and learned about Oman’s ancient defensive strategies and history. What made the experience even more special was that our guide took us to additional places that were not originally included in the itinerary. I consider this a major advantage of the company, as they go beyond the standard program to make the experience more enjoyable and memorable. In the evenings in Muscat, the company’s team offered us a variety of optional activities, including events, visits to shopping malls, and walks along Al Qurum Beach, which was a particularly enjoyable experience. Regarding accommodation, we stayed in a 4-star hotel in Muscat and also experienced three very different types of accommodation during the trip: a beautiful seaside resort, a camp in the heart of the desert, and a hotel located at an altitude of around 2,300 meters. Staying in three different environments on consecutive nights added a wonderful variety to the trip. We had a fabulous day with Said who took us to Nizwa and Jebel Akhdar. He took us to some really interesting places and we felt very safe with him. He was very knowledgable and a great driver. The car was very comfortable and he also supplied water. We went to a great local restaurant, visited some date shops in th lovely village of Nizwa and then went on to see the roses at Jebel Akhdar - we were lucky to go when they were in bloom. We were also taken to a lovely rose factory and saw how the oil and rose water was produced. I would highly recommend using Two Brothers for your trip to Oman.

This was such a great tour from start to finish! Due to jet lag, I was up booking this last-minute adventure at 4:30 AM and my guide Shakir was in my hotel lobby at 8:30 AM that same day! Amazing, responsive service. A retired journalist, Shakir knows his stuff and I was able to ask him any question that came to mind. Despite lots of driving, the car was comfortable and we made enough stops to keep the day interesting. Lunch at a local mountain spot was excellent, offering two different styles of rice and multiple different meat/vegetarian toppings. The Yemeni tea was great, too. I really enjoyed exploring the mountain villages, walking the rose garden terraces and hiking above the cliff hotel. Truly a one-of-a-kind place!
