Car
If you're traveling by car, start your journey from Salalah, the capital of Dhofar Governorate. Head east on Sultan Qaboos Street (Road 31) towards the town of Taqa. After approximately 20 kilometers, keep following the signs towards Mirbat. When you reach the Taqa junction, take a right turn onto the road leading to Mirbat. Continue on this road for about 30 kilometers until you see the signs for Darbat Waterfall. There is parking available near the waterfall, but be prepared for a short walk to fully enjoy the view.
Public Transportation
To reach Darbat Waterfall using public transport, take a local bus from Salalah to Mirbat. Buses usually depart from the main bus station in Salalah and run regularly throughout the day. The journey takes about 45 minutes to an hour. Once you arrive in Mirbat, you can take a taxi to Darbat Waterfall, which is approximately 15 kilometers away. Be sure to negotiate the fare before starting your taxi ride. Expect to pay around 5-10 OMR for the taxi ride.
