  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Salalah, the capital of Dhofar Governorate. Head east on Sultan Qaboos Street (also known as Al-Husn Street) for about 30 km until you reach the intersection with Route 31. Turn left onto Route 31 and continue straight for approximately 60 km. Follow the signs towards the Sink Hole. As you approach the Sink Hole, you will see a sign directing you to the parking area. Parking is generally free, and the Sink Hole is just a short walk from the parking lot.

    If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Salalah to Taqah. These buses run frequently and the fare is usually around 1 OMR. Once you arrive in Taqah, you can hire a taxi to take you directly to the Sink Hole, which is approximately 10 km away. The taxi fare should be around 3-5 OMR. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey. The taxi will drop you off close to the entrance, and from there, it's a short walk to the Sink Hole.
