Getting There

  • Walking

    Start your journey from the center of Ibri. Head towards the Ibri Fort and continue past it until you reach the main road (Route 21). Turn left onto Route 21 and walk for about 3 kilometers until you reach the village of Al Hamra. From Al Hamra, you can follow the signposts leading to Jabal Shams. Note that the walk can be long, so be prepared with water and snacks.

  • Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Ibri. Begin at the Ibri Fort and ride towards Route 21. Once you reach Route 21, turn left and cycle for approximately 3 kilometers to Al Hamra. From there, look for signs that guide you to Jabal Shams. The ride can be challenging due to hilly terrain, so ensure you have a good mountain bike.
