From the center of Nizwa, you can easily find a taxi by heading to the main street (Al Ghubra Street). Look for a taxi stand or wave for a taxi on the street. Inform the driver that you want to go to Wadi Al Sahtan. The driver will take you directly to the location, which is approximately 30 kilometers away and may take about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.
Public Bus
Head to the Nizwa Bus Station located near the Nizwa Fort. Here, you can catch a bus that heads towards Rustaq. Be sure to ask the bus driver or conductor to let you know when you reach Wadi Al Sahtan. The bus ride may take around 45 minutes to an hour. Once you get off the bus, you may need to walk a short distance to reach the scenic spot.
