Turn onto the smaller road that leads towards the village of Al-Jil, and follow the signs for about 10 minutes until you reach Ain Al-Jil. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for mountain roads, as some areas may be steep and winding.
Public Transportation
To reach Ain Al-Jil using public transport, first take a bus or taxi from Nizwa to the main entrance of Jebel Akhdar. Once at the entrance, you may need to hire a local taxi or arrange a ride with a guide to take you to Ain Al-Jil, as public transport options are limited within the mountain area. The taxi ride from the entrance to Ain Al-Jil will take about 20-30 minutes. Be sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey, and expect to pay around 20-30 Omani Rials for the ride, depending on negotiation.
