If you're driving from the center of Jebel Akhdar, start on the main road heading south towards Nizwa. Continue on this road until you reach the junction that leads to Bahla. Turn left onto the road towards Bahla, and follow the signs. After approximately 20 kilometers, you will enter Bahla. Keep an eye out for Bahla Fort, which will be on your left side. There is parking available nearby.

To get to Bahla Fort using public transportation, find a bus or shared taxi that heads to Nizwa. From Jebel Akhdar, head to the nearest bus stop or taxi stand and ask for a ride to Nizwa. Once you reach Nizwa, you can catch another bus or shared taxi to Bahla. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to stop at Bahla Fort. The fort is well-known, and drivers will be familiar with it. After arriving in Bahla, you may need to walk a short distance to reach the fort.
