If you are driving from the main area of Jebel Akhdar, start by heading southeast on the main road leading out of the village. Follow the signs for Al Hajir and continue on the main road for approximately 25 kilometers. As you approach Al Hajir, look for a sign indicating the direction to Jebel Hatt Camping Area. Turn onto the dirt road (5C97+6C3) and follow it for about 2 kilometers until you reach the camping area. Be cautious of the road conditions, as it may be rough in some places.

For those relying on public transportation, your first step is to find a local bus or shared taxi (often called 'microbuses') heading towards Al Hajir. Make your way to the nearest bus station in Jebel Akhdar, where you can board a bus heading towards Al Hajir. The fare is usually modest, around 1-2 OMR. Once you arrive in Al Hajir, you will need to arrange for a local taxi to take you the remaining distance to Jebel Hatt Camping Area, which is about 5 kilometers away. Be sure to negotiate the fare with the taxi driver beforehand, as it can vary. Expect to pay around 3-5 OMR for this short ride.
