Car
If you're driving, head towards the main road leading out of Jebel Shams, which is the Wadi Ghul road. Continue along this road until you reach the junction where the signs indicate the direction to An Nid. Turn left at this junction and follow the signs toward An Nid. After approximately 15 km, you'll find an unnamed road to the right. Turn onto this road and keep going for about 5 km. Al Fara’a will be located on your left at the coordinates 23.2194443, 57.315639999999995.
Public Transportation
If you're using public transport, first take a shared taxi or local bus from Jebel Shams to the nearest town, which is Al Hamra. From Al Hamra, you can hire a taxi to An Nid. Make sure to negotiate the fare upfront; it should cost around 10-15 Omani Rials. Once you arrive in An Nid, you may need to walk approximately 2 km to reach Al Fara’a, or you can ask the taxi driver to drop you off as close as possible to the coordinates 23.2194443, 57.315639999999995.
Walking
If you're already in the area and prefer walking, you can take the unnamed road directly leading to Al Fara’a from Jebel Shams. This route is approximately 7 km and will take you about 1.5 to 2 hours on foot. Make sure to carry water and wear comfortable shoes, as the terrain can be uneven.
