If you are driving, navigate towards Jebel Shams from Muscat. Take Route 15 (Sultan Qaboos Highway) and head towards Nizwa. After Nizwa, follow the signs to Al Hamra and Jebel Shams. Once in Al Hamra, take the road leading to Jebel Shams. The road is well-marked, but be cautious of steep inclines and curves. As you approach Jebel Shams, look for the Jebel Shams Campsite coordinates: 23.2043675, 57.2017943. You can use Google Maps or another navigation app to guide you accurately to the campsite address: 6632+PPV, Jabal Shams.

To reach Jebel Shams via public transportation, start your journey by taking a bus from Muscat to Nizwa. The buses leave frequently from the Muscat Bus Station. Once you arrive in Nizwa, you will need to hire a taxi or use a ride-hailing app to reach Jebel Shams. Ensure to negotiate the fare beforehand, as taxis may not have a meter. The drive from Nizwa to Jebel Shams takes about an hour, and you can ask the driver to take you to the campsite location: 6632+PPV, Jabal Shams.
