Breathtaking Views at the Scenic View Point

Getting There

• Walking

  Start from the Khasab Fort, which is located in the center of Khasab. Head northwest on Al Muna Street for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection. Turn left onto Al Maktoum Street and continue walking for another 300 meters. You will pass several local shops and cafes along the way. After reaching the intersection with Al Bahri Road, turn right. Continue on Al Bahri Road for approximately 1.5 kilometers, enjoying the coastal views. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to 'View Point.' The path will lead you through a small trail that ascends slightly. Follow this trail for about 1 kilometer, and you will see the View Point marked by signs. The viewpoint offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and the fjords of Musandam.

• Bicycle

  If you have rented a bicycle, start at the Khasab Port area. Head east on Al Bahri Road. Cycle along the road, which has a scenic view of the sea. After approximately 2 kilometers, you will reach a small uphill path. Park your bicycle at the base of the trail and walk up the path to the View Point. The ascent is manageable and will take about 20 minutes.

• Public Transport

  Take a local bus or shared taxi from the main bus station in Khasab towards the village of Taqah. Inform the driver that you are heading to the View Point. The ride should take about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Taqah, ask locals for directions to the View Point. It is roughly a 30-minute walk from the village. Follow the signs and paths leading uphill towards the viewpoint.
