Getting There

• Car

  To reach Wadi Blad from any location on Masirah Island, start by heading towards the main road connecting the island. If you are in the town of Ras Al Hadd, drive south on the main road (Route 23) for about 15 kilometers. Continue driving until you approach the intersection near the village of Rasiya. At the intersection, follow the signs towards Wadi Blad and take a right turn onto the smaller road (GW43+G7). Drive for approximately 3 kilometers until you reach the entrance of Wadi Blad. The area is marked, and you should see signs indicating the location.

• Public Transportation

  If you are relying on public transportation, look for local buses or shared taxis that operate between major towns on Masirah Island. From Ras Al Hadd, inquire about transportation to Rasiya village. Once you arrive in Rasiya, you may need to hire a local taxi or arrange for a ride to Wadi Blad, as public transport might not go directly to the site. Make sure to negotiate the fare in advance, which typically costs around 5-10 OMR (Omani Rial) for a one-way trip.

• Walking

  For those who enjoy hiking, if you are already in Rasiya, you can walk to Wadi Blad from the village. The distance is approximately 3 kilometers, and while it is a scenic route, be prepared for uneven terrain. Take the road heading towards GW43+G7 and follow it to the entrance of the Wadi. Ensure you have plenty of water and wear appropriate footwear.
