Getting There

Walking
From the center of Mirbat, head towards the coastline. Follow the main road (Al Hail Street) south until you reach the junction with the road leading to Taqah. Continue straight on this road for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach Taqah. As you enter Taqah, look for local signage directing you towards Mussels Rock. The rock is located along the coastline, so you should be able to see it as you approach the area. Take a left turn towards the beach area where Mussels Rock is situated, and follow the path leading directly to the rock formation.

Alternatively, you can take a local bus or taxi from Mirbat to Taqah. Once you arrive in Taqah, ask the driver to drop you off near the beach area close to Mussels Rock. From there, you can easily walk to the rock by following the coastal path. Make sure to have some local currency for the bus fare or taxi ride.
