Getting there

Walking

From the center of Mirbat, head east towards the main road (Al Batinah Street). Once you reach the main road, turn left and continue walking along the sidewalk. After about 1 kilometer, you will reach the intersection with the road to Taqah. Follow the signs towards Taqah Castle, which is located about 3 kilometers from this intersection. Continue straight until you see the castle on your right.

Local Bus

From the Mirbat bus station, look for a bus heading towards Taqah. The buses are usually marked with their destinations. Once you board, inform the driver that you want to get off at Taqah Castle. The journey should take around 15-20 minutes. When you arrive, the castle will be within walking distance from the bus stop.

Taxi

You can find local taxis around Mirbat. Just hail one or ask your hotel to call one for you. Inform the driver you want to go to Taqah Castle. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on traffic, and it will drop you off right at the entrance of the castle.
