Getting There

• Walking

  From Al Ghubrah, head south on Al Ghubrah Street until you reach the intersection with Sultan Qaboos Street. This should take about 15 minutes on foot. Once you reach Sultan Qaboos Street, turn left and continue walking for approximately 1.5 km. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. Keep an eye out for the large Ruwi Clock Tower on your right as you approach the Al Wadi Al Kabir Industrial Estate. The total walking distance is about 2 km.

  From Al Ghubrah, locate the nearest bus stop along Al Ghubrah Street (Buses 1 and 2 operate in this area). Board the bus and make sure to inform the driver that you want to go to Ruwi. The bus fare is approximately 0.500 OMR. The bus will take you directly to the Ruwi area, and the journey should take around 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you get off, the Ruwi Clock Tower will be within a short walking distance from the bus stop.
