Walking
If you are starting from the Muttrah Corniche, head southeast along the waterfront promenade. Enjoy the views of the sea and the mountains. Continue walking until you reach the entrance of the Muttrah Souq. Enter the Souq and explore its vibrant stalls. After exploring, exit the Souq and head east towards the main road, Al Bahri Road. Turn left onto Al Bahri Road and walk until you reach the intersection with Al Mina Street. Turn right onto Al Mina Street. Continue walking until you reach the Qasr Al Alam Royal Palace, which is a popular landmark. From there, head southeast towards the direction of Al Haffa. You will eventually find a path that leads toward the hills. Follow the path uphill, which will eventually take you to Censer View, where you can enjoy panoramic views of Muscat.

From the Ruwi Bus Station, take a bus heading towards Muttrah (Bus Number 1 or 7). Once you arrive at Muttrah, get off at the stop closest to the Muttrah Souq. After exploring the Souq, exit and head east along Al Bahri Road. At the intersection with Al Mina Street, turn right and continue until you reach the Qasr Al Alam Royal Palace. Once there, you can ask locals for directions to the nearest path leading uphill to Censer View, which is a popular spot and they will be able to guide you.
