Walking
If you are starting from the Nizwa Fort, exit the fort grounds and head south towards the main road (Al-Batinah Road). Turn left onto Al-Batinah Road and walk straight for about 500 meters. You will pass by local shops and cafes. Continue walking until you reach a roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Al-Sultan Qaboos Street. Nizwa Gate will be on your left side after approximately 300 meters. Look for the large archway that marks the entrance.

If you are near the Nizwa Souq, exit the souq and head east towards the main road (Al-Batinah Road). Turn right onto Al-Batinah Road and walk for about 400 meters. As you walk, you will notice several shops. Keep an eye out for the roundabout ahead. Upon reaching the roundabout, take the second exit onto Al-Sultan Qaboos Street. Nizwa Gate will be on your left after approximately 300 meters. The gate is easily recognizable by its impressive architectural design.
Walking
From Nizwa's main bus station, exit the station and walk towards the main road, Al-Batinah Road. Turn right and walk along the road for about 1 kilometer. You will pass various local vendors and shops. When you reach the roundabout, take the second exit onto Al-Sultan Qaboos Street. Continue walking straight for about 300 meters, and you will see Nizwa Gate on your left. It is a prominent historical landmark and cannot be missed.
