Car
From Ras Al Jinz, head northwest on Route 23 (the coastal road). Follow the road for approximately 20 kilometers. You will pass through scenic coastal views. Keep an eye out for signs leading to Al Hadd. Upon reaching the town of Al Hadd, continue following the main road until you see signs for Al Hadd Castle. The castle is located at GQFQ+MW8, Al Hadd, and there is parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
If you prefer to use public transportation, you can take a local bus or shared taxi from Ras Al Jinz to Al Hadd. Buses typically leave from the central bus station in Ras Al Jinz. Once you arrive in Al Hadd, ask the driver or locals for directions to Al Hadd Castle, as it is a well-known landmark. The bus fare is usually minimal, around 1-2 Omani Rials.
Walking
If you are feeling adventurous and would like to stretch your legs, you can walk from Ras Al Jinz to Al Hadd, which is about a 6-7 km walk. Start by heading northwest on Route 23 and then turn onto the main road towards Al Hadd. The walk will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, carry water, and consider the weather conditions.
