Car
Starting from Ras Al Jinz, head northwest on the coastal road (Route 23). Continue for approximately 13 kilometers until you reach the junction for Route 23. Take the exit onto Route 23 towards Sur. After about 15 kilometers, stay on Route 23 and look for the signs indicating Ra's ar Ru'ays. The Pink Lakes will be located approximately 10 kilometers from this junction. You will need to turn onto a smaller road that leads directly to the lakes, following local signage.
Public Transportation
From Ras Al Jinz, you can take a local bus heading towards Sur. Ensure to check the latest bus schedules. The bus ride should take around 30 minutes. Get off at the stop for Ra's ar Ru'ays. From there, you can either walk (approximately 3 kilometers) or hire a taxi to reach the Pink Lakes. The taxi ride typically costs around 3-5 OMR (Omani Rial).
Taxi
If you prefer a direct route without public transportation, you can hire a taxi from Ras Al Jinz. The taxi will take you directly to the Pink Lakes, which is about a 20-minute drive. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand; it should be around 5-7 OMR. Always confirm that the driver knows the location of the Pink Lakes.
