Getting there

Car

If you are driving from Salalah city, head east on Al Nasser Street (the main road) towards Al Awqadayn. Continue straight for about 10 km until you reach the sign for Auqad beach. You will find a turn-off that leads towards the beach area. Follow the road until you reach the beach parking area.

Taxi

For those preferring not to drive, you can take a taxi from Salalah city. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Auqad beach (X3X8+P2R, Salalah). The fare should be around 10-15 Omani Rial depending on your starting point and the negotiation with the driver. The taxi will drop you off at the beach entrance.

Public Bus

Public buses are available but may not have a direct route to Auqad beach. Look for buses heading towards Al Awqadayn area. Once you arrive at the nearest bus stop, you might need to walk or take a short taxi ride to reach the beach. Bus fares are generally very economical, costing around 1 Omani Rial.

Walking

If you are already in the vicinity of Auqad beach, you can explore the surrounding area on foot. The beach is accessible via walking paths from nearby neighborhoods. Ensure to stay hydrated and wear comfortable shoes as the terrain may vary.
