Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving to Fayha', head towards Wadi Shab from the main road (Route 17). Follow the signs for Wadi Shab, and once you reach the entrance, you will need to park your car in the designated area. From there, you will need to walk approximately 30 minutes along a well-marked trail that leads you through the stunning Wadi Shab gorge towards Fayha'. The final part of the walk involves some minor rock scrambling, so wear comfortable shoes.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Fayha' using public transportation, take a bus or shared taxi from Muscat to Tiwi, which is the nearest town to Wadi Shab. Once you arrive in Tiwi, look for local transport options like a shared taxi or ask locals for a ride to the Wadi Shab entrance. After reaching the entrance, you will have to walk about 30 minutes along a trail leading to Fayha'. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they may not run frequently.

• Walking

  If you are already in Wadi Shab, start from the entrance area where you parked or arrived via public transport. Follow the well-trodden path that leads into the gorge. The hike will take about 30 minutes to reach Fayha', with some areas requiring you to navigate over rocks and through water. Ensure to wear appropriate footwear for comfort and safety.

• Boat

  In some cases, visitors may have the option to hire a small boat to cross the water at Wadi Shab if the water levels are favorable. This can be a short and scenic way to get closer to Fayha', but availability depends on the local conditions and may incur an additional cost. It's recommended to check with local guides.
