If you have access to a rental car, the best way to reach Wadi Mibam from Wadi Shab is to drive. Start by leaving the Wadi Shab entrance and head east towards the main road (Route 17). Drive for about 10 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 23. Turn right onto Route 23 and continue for approximately 40 kilometers. You will pass through the town of Simah. Look for signs indicating Wadi Mibam. Once you reach the Wadi Mibam entrance, park your car and follow the designated walking trails to explore the area.
Public Transportation
For those relying on public transportation, your journey will start at the nearest bus stop in Wadi Shab. Take a local bus heading towards the town of Simah. Ensure you confirm with the driver that they will stop at Simah. The bus fare will typically be around 1 Omani Rial. Upon arriving in Simah, you can take a taxi to the Wadi Mibam entrance, which may cost an additional 5 Omani Rials. Once you arrive at the entrance, you will need to walk along the trails to reach the main attractions within Wadi Mibam.
