Getting There

  • Car

    From Wadi Shab, head north towards the coast road (Route 17). Continue on Route 17 for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for the village of Tiwi. Turn left at the sign for Tiwi and continue for about 7 kilometers. You will pass through the village of Tiwi; keep following the signs for Wadi Tool. After Tiwi, turn onto the Unnamed Road (which may not be well-marked) and follow the road for about 5 kilometers until you reach Wadi Tool. Ensure you have a map or GPS device as some sections may not be clearly signed.

  • Public Transportation

    From Wadi Shab, you can take a local bus or shared taxi (called a 'taxi' in Oman) to the nearest town, which is Tiwi. The buses may not run frequently, so it’s advisable to check the schedule ahead of time. Once in Tiwi, you can hire a taxi to take you directly to Wadi Tool. The taxi ride should take about 10-15 minutes and cost around 5 OMR. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand.
