Car
If you're coming from Baker City, take US-30 East (Baker St) out of town. After about 26 miles, merge onto OR-86 E towards Haines. Continue on OR-86 E for approximately 22 miles until you reach the junction with OR-7 N. Take OR-7 N and follow the signs towards Joseph. After about 50 miles, you'll reach the town of Joseph. The Iwetemlaykin State Heritage Site is located just outside Joseph, at the address: Iwetemlaykin State Heritage Site, Joseph, OR 97846. Look for signs directing you to the park entrance.

If you are using public transportation, begin by taking the Eastern Oregon Regional Transit bus from Baker City to La Grande. From La Grande, transfer to a bus heading towards Joseph. Note that bus schedules may vary, so check the current timetable to plan your journey. Upon arrival in Joseph, the Iwetemlaykin State Heritage Site is about 2 miles from the bus stop. You can either walk or take a local taxi or rideshare service to reach the site.
