If you're coming from Sisters, you'll travel west on Highway 126 for approximately 30 miles. After you pass through the town of Blue River, continue on Highway 126. Look for signs indicating 'Dee Wright Observatory' as you approach. The observatory is located at McKenzie Pass, and you will need to turn onto the McKenzie Highway (also known as OR-242). Follow OR-242 for about 7 miles until you reach the observatory parking area. Note that during winter months, OR-242 may be closed due to snow, so check road conditions before you travel.
