Car
From anywhere in Central Oregon, make your way to Highway 126. If you are starting from Bend, take US-97 N and then merge onto OR-126 W towards McKenzie Bridge. Continue on OR-126 W for approximately 30 miles until you reach McKenzie Bridge. Look for signs indicating Sahalie Falls. The viewpoint is located off McKenzie River Dr. There is a parking area available at the viewpoint.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, your best option is to take a bus from Bend to Eugene via the Cascades East Transit. From Eugene, transfer to a local bus that heads towards McKenzie Bridge. Once you reach McKenzie Bridge, you will likely need a taxi or rideshare service to reach Sahalie Falls Viewpoint, as public transportation does not go directly to the viewpoint. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they may vary.
Walking
If you are already near McKenzie Bridge and have parked your car, you can take a short, scenic walk down McKenzie River Dr. The walk to Sahalie Falls Viewpoint from the parking area is approximately 0.5 miles and is relatively easy, with well-marked trails leading to the viewpoint.
