If you're driving, start from the nearest major town, Prineville. Head northwest on OR-26 W for approximately 26 miles. Turn left onto US-97 S and continue for about 22 miles. Then, take the exit toward Madras and merge onto I-84 E. Follow the signs to Madras, and once you reach the town, take the exit toward SW Riverview Rd. Follow SW Riverview Rd for about 2 miles, and you'll find Round Butte Overlook Park on your left.
