Getting There

• Car

  From any location in Deschutes County, you will first need to head toward Highway 97. Depending on your specific starting point, you may take local roads to reach this highway. Once on Highway 97, head south toward La Pine. Take the exit for Highway 138 East toward Prineville. Continue on Highway 138 for approximately 25 miles until you reach the junction with NF-3401. Turn left onto NF-3401 and follow the signs for Umpqua Hot Springs. Continue on this road for about 5 miles, where you will find the hot springs on your right.

• Public Transportation + Car

  If you prefer public transportation, you can take a bus from Bend (the main city in Deschutes County) to Roseburg. From Bend, board a bus with the Central Oregon Breeze service toward Roseburg. Once you arrive in Roseburg, you can use a rideshare service (such as Uber or Lyft) or rent a car to reach Umpqua Hot Springs. From Roseburg, you will take Highway 138 East for about 30 miles. Then turn onto NF-3401 and follow the signs for Umpqua Hot Springs, which is about 5 miles down the road on your right.
