Car
If you are driving from Roseburg, head north on OR-99 toward Sutherlin. Merge onto I-5 N and continue for approximately 50 miles. Take exit 162 for OR-62 toward Crater Lake. Follow OR-62 for about 30 miles until you reach the junction with Crater Lake National Park. Continue into the park and follow signs to Vidae Falls. There is an entrance fee to the park, so be prepared for a cost of around $30 per vehicle.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Roseburg to Medford. From Medford, you will need to catch a shuttle service to Crater Lake National Park, as public transit options are limited directly to Vidae Falls. Check with local shuttle services for schedules and pricing, which may vary. Once you arrive at the park entrance, you can either walk or use the park shuttle to reach Vidae Falls.
Hiking
For those already within Crater Lake National Park and looking to hike, Vidae Falls is accessible via well-marked trails. From the visitor center, head towards the Rim Drive Trail. The hike to Vidae Falls is moderate, taking about 30 minutes. Ensure you have proper footwear and enough water for the hike.
