Car
If you're driving from Boise, ID, take I-84 W for approximately 40 miles. Exit onto US-95 S towards Ontario. Continue on US-95 S for about 85 miles until you reach Jordan Valley, OR. From Jordan Valley, follow Leslie Gulch Rd, which is a dirt road that leads directly into Leslie Gulch. Please be aware that the road may be rough in some areas, so a high-clearance vehicle is recommended.
Car
From Burns, OR, take OR-78 W for about 40 miles until you reach the junction with US-95. Turn south onto US-95 and continue for approximately 60 miles to Jordan Valley. From there, take Leslie Gulch Rd to reach the area. Note that this route may also involve driving on unpaved roads, so ensure your vehicle is suitable.
Public Transportation
If you are relying on public transportation, your best option is to take a Greyhound bus to Ontario, OR. From Ontario, you will need to arrange for a taxi or a rideshare service to take you to Jordan Valley. Once in Jordan Valley, you can either use a rental car or arrange for a local taxi to take you to Leslie Gulch. It's important to check the availability of taxis or rideshare services in advance, as options may be limited.
Bicycle
For the adventurous, biking to Leslie Gulch is an option if you are in the vicinity of Jordan Valley. You can bike along Leslie Gulch Rd, which offers scenic views. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks, as there are no facilities along the route.
