Car

From the nearest major city, La Grande, OR, take Interstate 84 East. After approximately 60 miles, take exit 265 for OR-82 toward Enterprise. Stay on OR-82 for about 30 miles until you reach the junction with OR-3. Turn left onto OR-3 and continue for about 20 miles. Turn right onto Forest Road 46 and follow it for around 6 miles. The road will lead you directly to Strawberry Lake. Note that Forest Road 46 can be rough and may require a vehicle with good clearance.
Public Transportation and Hiking

If you are using public transportation, take a bus from La Grande to the town of Baker City. From Baker City, you may need to arrange for a local taxi or rideshare to take you to the trailhead for Strawberry Lake. The trailhead is located at the intersection of OR-3 and Forest Road 46.
