Car
From the nearest major city, La Grande, OR, take Interstate 84 East. After approximately 60 miles, take exit 265 for OR-82 toward Enterprise. Stay on OR-82 for about 30 miles until you reach the junction with OR-3. Turn left onto OR-3 and continue for about 20 miles. Turn right onto Forest Road 46 and follow it for around 6 miles. The road will lead you directly to Strawberry Lake. Note that Forest Road 46 can be rough and may require a vehicle with good clearance.

If you are using public transportation, take a bus from La Grande to the town of Baker City. From Baker City, you may need to arrange for a local taxi or rideshare to take you to the trailhead for Strawberry Lake. The trailhead is located at the intersection of OR-3 and Forest Road 46. From the trailhead, it is about a 2-mile hike to reach Strawberry Lake. Make sure to bring proper hiking gear and check local conditions prior to your hike.

If coming from Burns, OR, take US-20 West for about 70 miles until you reach the junction with OR-395. Turn south onto OR-395 and continue for approximately 50 miles. Then, turn left onto OR-3 and follow it for about 20 miles until you reach Forest Road 46. Turn right onto Forest Road 46, which will lead you directly to Strawberry Lake. Be aware that road conditions may vary, so a vehicle with good clearance is recommended.
