From downtown Hood River, head west on Oak Street towards 1st Street. Turn left onto 1st Street, which will become the Historic Columbia River Highway (US-30). Follow US-30 for approximately 16 miles. Look for the signs for Wahkeena Falls and turn left onto Wahkeena Trail #420. There is a parking area near the trailhead. Note that there may be a parking fee, so it's best to bring cash or check for any costs associated with parking.
