Car
If you're traveling by car, head east on Interstate 84 from Hood River. Take exit 69 for Mosier. After exiting, turn left onto Mosier Valley Road. Continue straight until you reach the T-junction, then turn right onto the Historic Columbia River Highway (also known as Highway 30). Follow this road for about 3 miles, and you'll arrive at the Mosier Twin Tunnels parking area. There is no fee for parking.
Public Transportation
To reach Mosier Twin Tunnels via public transportation, take the Columbia Area Transit bus from Hood River to Mosier. Check the current schedule for departure times. Upon arriving in Mosier, walk towards Mosier Valley Road and head east until you reach the Historic Columbia River Highway. Turn right and follow the highway for about 3 miles to the tunnels. Be aware that this may require some walking, so wear comfortable shoes.
Bicycle
For those adventurous enough to cycle, you can bike along the Historic Columbia River Highway. Starting from Hood River, follow the signs to the highway and travel approximately 7 miles east. The ride offers stunning views of the Columbia River Gorge. Ensure you have a good map or GPS device. It is recommended to wear a helmet and have water for hydration.
