If you're driving in Hood River County, head towards Westcliff Drive. From downtown Hood River, take 1st Street heading west, then turn left onto Westcliff Drive. Continue on Westcliff Drive for approximately 1.5 miles. You'll find Ruthton County Park on your right, just before you reach the intersection with W. Cascade Avenue. There is no parking fee for the park, but ensure you park in designated areas.

To reach Ruthton County Park via public transportation, start by taking the Columbia Area Transit (CAT) bus service. If you're in downtown Hood River, catch the CAT Route 1, which travels towards The Dalles. Get off at the stop nearest to Westcliff Drive. From there, it's about a 20-minute walk (0.9 miles) to the park. Head west on E. Cascade Avenue, then turn right onto Westcliff Drive. Continue until you see the park entrance.
