If you are driving from Hood River, head east on I-84 E. Take exit 44 toward Cascade Locks/Bridge of the Gods. Merge onto Cascade Locks Highway and continue for about 1.5 miles. Then, turn left onto Herman Creek Road. Wyeth State Park will be on your left after approximately 0.5 miles. The park is located at 750 Herman Creek Rd, Cascade Locks, OR 97014.
Public Transportation
To reach Wyeth State Park via public transportation, you can take the Columbia Area Transit (CAT) bus from Hood River. Catch the bus at the nearest CAT stop and take Route 2 towards Cascade Locks. Disembark at the Cascade Locks stop. From there, it's about a 20-minute walk to the park. Head east on Cascade Locks Highway, then turn left onto Herman Creek Road; the park will be on your left after about 0.5 miles. Note that bus fares may apply, so check the CAT website for current rates.
Bicycle
For those who prefer biking, you can take the scenic route along the Historic Columbia River Highway. Start in Hood River and head east towards Cascade Locks. This route is approximately 20 miles and will take you along the river with beautiful views. Once you arrive in Cascade Locks, follow Cascade Locks Highway to Herman Creek Road, and Wyeth State Park will be on your left.
Hiking
If you are feeling adventurous and are nearby, you can hike to Wyeth State Park from the nearby trails.
