Public Bus
From downtown Hood River, walk to the nearest bus stop on Oak Street. Catch the Columbia Area Transit bus number 660 towards Stevenson. The bus will take you along the scenic route through the Columbia River Gorge. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the Stevenson stop. From the bus stop, it's about a 10-minute walk to Beacon Rock Campground. Head east on SW 2nd Street, then take a left on WA-14 E. Follow the highway for about 0.5 miles, and you will see the campground entrance on your right.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local shops in Hood River. Start from downtown and head east on Oak Street, then take the scenic Waterfront Trail that runs along the Columbia River. Continue on the trail until you reach the intersection with WA-14 E. Turn left onto WA-14 E and follow it for approximately 6 miles. Beacon Rock Campground will be on your right after you pass the Columbia River Gorge Interpretive Center.

Walking
If you are feeling adventurous and want to walk, start from downtown Hood River and head east on Oak Street towards the waterfront. Continue on the Waterfront Trail for about 1.5 miles until you reach the end of the trail. From there, follow the WA-14 E highway for approximately 5.5 miles. You'll need to walk along the shoulder of the highway, so be cautious of traffic. Beacon Rock Campground will be on your right, just after the Columbia River Gorge Interpretive Center.
