From downtown Hood River, start at the corner of Oak Street and 1st Street. Head east on Oak Street towards the Columbia River. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Highway 35. Cross the highway and continue on the path that leads to the Hood River Waterfront Park. Follow the waterfront trail north until you reach the Hood River Bridge.

Cross the Hood River Bridge to Washington State. Once you are across, follow the signs leading to WA-141. You will be walking along the highway, so be cautious of traffic. Continue on WA-141 for about 5 miles.

As you approach the town of White Salmon, look for signs indicating Husum Falls. The falls are located at 868 WA-141. You will see the falls on your left side. Take care when navigating the roadside as it may not have a dedicated pedestrian path.
