Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from any point in Jackson County and head towards Blue River, OR. Use Highway 58, which is a main route in the area. Follow the signs for Blue River. Once you reach Blue River, look for the signs leading to Bigelow Hot Springs. The springs are located along the McKenzie River, approximately 10 miles from Blue River. You will need to turn off the highway onto a smaller road that leads to the hot springs. Parking is available near the entrance of the hot springs.

• Public Transportation

  If you're relying on public transportation, take a bus to Eugene, OR, which is the closest major city. From Eugene, you can take a shuttle service or a rideshare (like Uber or Lyft) to Blue River. Be sure to check the shuttle schedules in advance as they may not run frequently. Once in Blue River, you can either walk or arrange for a local taxi to take you to Bigelow Hot Springs, which is about 10 miles away from the town center.

• Biking

  For the more adventurous, consider biking to Bigelow Hot Springs. Start in Blue River, and follow the bike paths along Highway 58 until you reach the hot springs. The ride is approximately 10 miles and offers scenic views of the McKenzie River. Make sure to wear a helmet and be aware of traffic, especially on the highway.
