Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from the city of Jefferson, head east on Highway 36. Continue on this road until you reach the junction with Highway 20. Merge onto Highway 20 East and continue for approximately 30 miles. Then, take the exit onto Highway 126 towards Springfield and Junction City. Stay on Highway 126 for about 20 miles until you reach the Blue River area. Look for signs indicating Bigelow Hot Springs. Follow the signs to the parking area, which is located just a short walk from the hot springs.

• Public Transportation

  Public transportation options are somewhat limited in Jefferson County, but you can use a combination of buses and local shuttles. Start by taking a Jefferson County Transit bus to the nearest main hub. From there, transfer to a Lane Transit District bus heading towards Blue River. Once in Blue River, you may need to use a rideshare service or taxi to reach Bigelow Hot Springs, as public transportation does not go directly to the hot springs. Be sure to check local schedules in advance for the most accurate information on routes and times.

• Walking from Parking Area

  After parking your vehicle at the designated parking area for Bigelow Hot Springs, follow the marked trail that leads to the hot springs. The walk is relatively short and will take about 10-15 minutes. Make sure to wear appropriate footwear, as the path can be uneven and may include some natural obstacles. Enjoy the scenic surroundings as you make your way to the hot springs.
