Car
If you are traveling by car from any location in Jefferson County, first navigate to Highway 97. From there, head north towards Madras. Continue on Highway 97 until you reach the junction with Highway 26. Take the exit onto Highway 26 West towards Portland. After approximately 60 miles, look for the exit for the Bridge of the Gods (Highway 30) to Cascade Locks. Once you cross the bridge, continue on Highway 30 until you reach the sign for Sherrard Point. Turn onto the road leading to Sherrard Point, where you will find parking available.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Madras to Hood River using the regional bus service. Once you arrive in Hood River, transfer to the Columbia Area Transit bus that goes towards Cascade Locks. Get off at the Cascade Locks stop and from there, you will need to either arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach Sherrard Point, as it is approximately 10 miles away from the bus stop. Alternatively, check for any local shuttle services that may offer direct transport to Sherrard Point.
