When you reach Prineville, turn right onto NE 3rd Street and follow it until you reach the junction with NE Elm Street. Turn left onto NE Elm Street, which will become NE 10th Street as it curves. Continue on NE 10th Street until it intersects with NE Larch Avenue. Turn right onto NE Larch Avenue. After about 2 miles, NE Larch Avenue will turn into Forest Road 27. Follow Forest Road 27 for approximately 12 miles until you reach the Steins Pillar Trailhead parking area. This road may be gravel in sections, so be cautious and ensure your vehicle is suitable for such terrain.
