Car
If you are driving from Jefferson County, head south on Highway 97 towards Madras. When you reach the junction with Highway 126, take a left onto Highway 126 East. Continue on Highway 126 for approximately 35 miles until you reach the town of McKenzie Bridge. In McKenzie Bridge, turn right onto National Forest Road 2672-655. Follow this road for about 5 miles until you reach the Tamolitch Falls (Blue Pool) parking area. Note that there may be a small parking fee, so be prepared with cash or a card.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, start by checking with local transit services for a bus route from your location in Jefferson County to Eugene. From Eugene, take the Lane Transit District bus service towards McKenzie Bridge. Once you arrive at McKenzie Bridge, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to National Forest Road 2672-655, as public transport does not go directly to the trailhead. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance to plan your trip.

For those who are already in the area and prefer walking, the Tamolitch Falls trailhead is accessible from the parking area. After parking, follow the marked trail which is approximately 2 miles long. The trail is well-maintained but can be rocky in places, so wear appropriate footwear. Enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way as you make your way to the stunning Blue Pool.
