To reach the Big Obsidian Flow Trailhead and Interpretive Site from Klamath Falls, head north on US-97 N for approximately 65 miles. After passing through the town of Chiloquin, continue straight on US-97 N until you reach the junction with OR-58. Take the exit toward OR-58 E, and follow it for about 22 miles. Then, turn right onto Forest Road 21, which will lead you to the Big Obsidian Flow Trailhead. The trailhead has a parking area, but be aware that parking may require a National Forest Pass, which can be purchased at nearby ranger stations or online.
