If you are driving from Klamath Falls, take US-97 North for about 35 miles until you reach the junction with OR-58 in Chemult. Merge onto OR-58 West and continue for approximately 54 miles. Follow the signs to Blue River, where the entrance to Willamette National Forest is located. Be prepared for a scenic drive through the mountains and forests.

From Lakeview, take OR-140 West for about 47 miles until you reach the intersection with US-97. Turn left (south) on US-97 and continue for 25 miles to the junction with OR-58 in Chemult. Merge onto OR-58 West and follow the directions to Blue River. The forest entrance will be clearly marked.

There is no direct public transportation to Willamette National Forest. However, you can take a Greyhound or local transit service to Eugene, Oregon. From Eugene, you will need to rent a car or use a rideshare service to reach Blue River and the National Forest. Expect rental car rates to start at approximately $40 per day, plus fuel costs.
