Car
If you are driving from the nearest major city, Bend, OR, head east on US-20 E for about 80 miles until you reach the junction with US-26. Merge onto US-26 E and continue for approximately 30 miles. The Clyde Holliday State Recreation Site will be on your right, just before entering Mt. Vernon.
Car from Lakeview
From Lakeview, OR, take OR-140 W for about 40 miles. When you reach the junction with US-395 N, turn north and continue for about 30 miles until you reach the junction with US-26. Turn left onto US-26 W and continue for about 10 miles. The Clyde Holliday State Recreation Site will be on your left, just after entering Mt. Vernon.
Public Transportation
Currently, there is limited public transportation directly to Clyde Holliday State Recreation Site. However, you can take a Greyhound bus to either Bend or Lakeview and from there, consider renting a car or using a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft to reach the site. Make sure to check bus schedules as they may vary.
Walking/Biking from Mt. Vernon
If you are in Mt. Vernon, you can walk or bike to the Clyde Holliday State Recreation Site. From the center of Mt. Vernon, head east on US-26 for about 1 mile. The recreation site will be on your left. This route is straightforward and suitable for biking.
