Getting There

Car
If you are driving from Lakeview, OR, take US-395 N for about 24 miles until you reach the intersection with OR-31 N. Turn left onto OR-31 N and continue for approximately 40 miles. You will merge onto OR-62 W. From there, follow signs for Crater Lake National Park. Once you enter the park, follow Rim Drive until you reach Sinnott Memorial Observation Station, which is located at Rim Dr, Crater Lake, OR 97604. There is a park entrance fee of $30 per vehicle for a 7-day pass.

Public Transportation
Public transportation options are limited in this remote area. However, you can take a bus from Lakeview to Klamath Falls, which is about 60 miles from Crater Lake. From Klamath Falls, you may need to use a taxi or rideshare service to reach Crater Lake National Park. Once in the park, you can drive or take the shuttle service provided during peak seasons to reach Sinnott Memorial Observation Station. Be sure to check the schedule and availability of the shuttle service in advance.

Bicycle
For the adventurous, biking from Lakeview is an option. Take the same route as the car guidance to OR-31 N, but be prepared for hilly terrain. The ride is approximately 64 miles one way and can take a full day, so plan accordingly with plenty of water and snacks. Once you reach Crater Lake National Park, you can bike along Rim Drive to Sinnott Memorial Observation Station. Note that biking in the park may require a separate pass.
