From any location on the Oregon Coast, take US-101 North or South to reach the nearest major highway access. Continue to head east on OR-42 until you connect with OR-31. Follow OR-31 South for approximately 40 miles. Look for signs for Summer Lake Wildlife Area and continue until you reach 53447 OR-31, Summer Lake, OR 97640. Note that some parts of OR-31 may be winding, so drive cautiously. Be prepared for possible tolls depending on your route.
