Car
From the center of Polk County, head east on OR-22 E towards Salem. Merge onto I-5 N and continue for approximately 17 miles. Take exit 283A to merge onto OR-224 E towards Estacada. After about 8 miles, turn right onto Bluff Rd. Continue on Bluff Rd for about 1 mile until you reach Jonsrud Viewpoint located at 15652 Bluff Rd, Sandy, OR 97055. There is no parking fee at the viewpoint.
Public Transportation
To reach Jonsrud Viewpoint using public transport, take a bus from Salem to Sandy. You can catch the bus at the Salem Transportation Center. Once you arrive in Sandy, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to the viewpoint, as there are no direct public transport routes to the location. The taxi ride will be approximately 15 minutes and may cost around $15-$20.
